INT. 07 BREWTALIST

Located in Surabaya, the Brewtalist Coffeeshop project is a compelling exercise in raw, multi-exposed materials, presenting a distinctly industrial and unvarnished aesthetic. Designed in collaboration with Solytude System and Bandung-based designer Jonathan Ezra Liukae, the space features clear-coated materials that highlight their textures: concrete walls and floors provide a brutalist foundation, while specific elements of rusted iron contrast with polished stainless steel fixtures and the multi-layered plywood bar. The result, as shown, is a cohesive environment where the materials, from the geometric light fixtures to the custom machinery, tell a unique design story.
